LCpl. William Lloyd Crawford served with the 1st Recon Battalion, B Company. His name stands proudly on the 1st Recon Battalion Wall of Honor. Semper fi, Brother Marine. We will never forget.

I still remember

Bill was a big, strong kid with an easy way about him. I left VN before he was killed, and my friend Bill Clark wrote me of his death. As I get older some of the memories are fading, but not the loss of a friend. Rest in peace old friend; we'll all be there some day getting ready for another formation.

Gregory A. Francesco

A friend never forgotten

Bill, you are always on my mind and in my heart. I will always offer prayers for you. Sorry you had to miss so much. We'll miss you again this year at the Reunion. Your friend in mourning, Lar.

Friend

Bill taught me how to play guitar and have a good time.
We were the last military unit to go ashore like they did in World War II by landing craft.

Rest well my good friend,
Larry Chavez
