A buddy not forgotten

Jim and I thought we had the world by the tail after boot camp. But for reasons only God knows why, for Jimmy his world would end to soon and to this day I can't understand why him and not me. We went down the same roads together only to be parted and never to see each other again. Jim found God in boot camp and I know he now rests in peace with him. To you my friend, I will never forget.

Donald (Sgt) Thom, Jr.
Joined Marine Corps with Jim
