Ron McCarville

Ron McCarville, Kilo 3/5 Ron was in Vietnam the same time as Brad in '67-68. On many operations, they shed blood on the same ground. Ron was also among the first 3/5 Marines we found via the Internet.

Ron has done some great writing about Operation ALLENBROOK, MAMELUKE THRUST, and other experiences during his tour in Vietnam, told the way only a combat Marine can. Check out "Ops in the Mountains of An Hoa (Summer '68)," on the Kilo 3/5 Website.

The week of Jan. 30-Feb. 3, 2000, Ron, along with Ron Heath, attended the 1st Marine Division's 59th Anniversary Commemoration in Oceanside, CA. He says it was an awesome experience and reunion. The week in pictures posted on the Kilo 3/5 website tells it all! Looking forward to many more pix and reunions, Beer Man. Always faithful, ~DR
