Reunion in the Redwoods
Aug. 2001

It was a reunion long overdue for Jack Swan and Brad Reynolds who served together in Vietnam with the 3rd Battalion, 5th Marines, Mike Company. After "finding" Jack via the internet, we knew we had to have a face to face meeting soon as possible...all I can say is it was absolutely awesome seeing these two Marines together again after so many years. Both a little older, and grayer...but still young Marines inside. 

We laughed, and cried, and hugged, and talked till the wee hours of each morning, not wanting to waste a minute. Two days turned into five, as we just had to have "one more BBQ!" One thing's for sure, we aren't ever gonna lose each other again! This mini-reunion will stay in my heart and mind forever...I guess the pics speak for themselves. Looking forward to many more!~DR

Reunion in the Redwoods...Jack Swan and Brad Reynolds...together again after 34 years!

Brad and Deb and Jack having cold ones and pastrami sandwiches at our local watering hole, the world famous Ocean Grove. We'd been so excited we told a lot of folks how we "found" Jack and that he was on his way to see us. Had to show Jack off. One of our friends came in who heard Jack plays Martin guitar, and before we knew it, Jack was playing and singing for everyone. Then a guy went and got his 12-string and joined in...everybody loved it! They nicknamed Jack, "Jack Haggard."

Jack and Deb and Brad and Rowdy dog, aka "Gunny" back at the bunker in time for "Happy Hour." (Just happened that Lord Calvert Canadian blend was on sale at our little store).

Jack-Boy-R-Swanie putting together some ribs for the BBQ...mighty fine stuff...mmmmm. He uses a special seasoning blend that makes everything taste just awesome!
