Operation UNION and UNION II

One Of The Great Loves Of My Life

I don't know where to start telling about this beautiful little brother of mine. I miss him as much today as I did the day he went off to war. He was always ready to do whatever was asked of him, and always ready to please. He never got the chance to live and he had so many plans for when he came home. A flag draped coffin was certainly not in his plans. I am his eldest sister and always wanted to be there for him, but when he need me most,v I couldn't be there.~Maxine Marriette

My Friend Always

Bob was my best friend during Infantry Training at Pendelton before we shipped out to Nam in Jan 67. We had the same MOS, 0351 and really wanted to be together for our tour of duty. I miss Bob, but carry his memory always. Semper Fi my friend! ~Richard Ehrlich
