It was a land full of grace and beauty,
now it's filled with blood.
Lush, tropical forests
are barren earth and mud
Mountains in the highlands
once majestic and serene,
heard the screams of death,
and watched the burning of the trees
Streams of fire from the sky
rained upon the land.
Burning, devouring, having its fill
of blood and flesh…and Man
The Valley where God used to walk
where birds and beasts called Home,
swallowed up the men of war,
and spit upon their bones
jungle wailed, the banshee cried,
the tiger sued for peace,
but the dragon kept on spewing forth
napalm through its teeth
The land still weeps, her wounds run deep,
and many scars remain.
Within her bowels lie countless souls,
she took to ease her pain...
