With our every breath, and deep respect, Did you ever run into someone you felt like you've know your entire life? Well, that's the way it feels every time I meet another Combat Wife. Instant friends, same experiences, mutual honor and respect. These are some of these special Ladies I've come to know. I will be posting their stories, pictures and other related information as space allows. If you're a Combat Wife (or significant other), and would like to be on our Email Call page, email us with your name and info. ~DR

We have been through some hard times, and I hope I helped him a little in dealing with the memories of that war. I love him very much, and owe him more than I can ever repay."
Becky Hansford, USMC Combat Wife Please put my e-mail address on this site so that I can talk to the other combat wives. They say Marines are brothers and stick together for life, well I guess we are like sisters and need to stick together, because unless you understand and know what these guys went through, you don't know what it is like. Hugs!!!! And I salute you and your husband. Betty

I was only a girlfriend, but while I knew you, you were a gentleman in all scores. I'm very proud I knew you and know you went to fight a war no one wanted to be in, but you did your best. I loved you then, and still have a special place in my heart. You asked me not to wait, for you knew what was to be, you sacrificed it all. Thanks for a love that has lasted forever. Still in my heart, Betty.
I am the proud wife of a Combat Engineer of the US Army. I married Billy before Vietnam and plan to remain his wife until death. His time served in Vietnam has only made my love and pride in him stronger. My life has now become even more special as I have become a part of his brotherhood with his buddies. You can see them all at either of these sites and then you will know why my pride in him and his brothers is so strong.
